Read the following text carefully then do the tasks.

"Sport" comes from the old French "disport" meaning leisure. Playing sports is one of the favorite activities of most of us. Apart from being a fun activity, sports offer several benefits, thus contributing to one's physical, social and mental well-being.

Playing sports improves mathematical skills in children. It develops leadership qualities and fosters a team spirit in them. Sports involve competitions which involve winning and losing. This exposes the players to both  aspects of life, success and failure. Sports build a competitive spirit in children and teach them to be participative whether the participation concludes in a victory or a defeat. Playing sports teaches a person to accept both successes and failures in a positive spirit. The most important benefit of playing sports is the sportsman spirit, "The most important thing . . . is not winning but taking part" is a typical expression of this sentiment. Playing sports results in the development of a sportive nature, which is helpful throughout one’s life.

Sport brings people together, all over the world and in your neighborhood. Young people everywhere know moves and stars and love them. Sport's worldwide projects like «FIFA World Cup» inspire young people everywhere, and when professional sportsmen perform and coach around the world, sport brings people together. The more the latter are together, the more they will learn about each other’s cultures, make friends and discover new ways to enjoy being happy. I wonder why governments don't solve their odds by a football match instead of wars!

Although sport seeds friendship, respect and love between people, sometimes athletes, coaches, fans, and parents unleash violent behaviour on people or property, in misguided shows of loyalty, anger, or celebration. Hooliganism is common and brings problems at national and international sporting contests.Keep practising sport, be healthy and peaceful!
